I’ve wanted to crochet one of these blankets since I saw the ones that @littledovecrochet made. https://littledovedesigns.co.uk/blogs/little-dove-crochet-blogs/field-of-daisies-blanket
The pattern for the daisies and the squares is by Tillie Tulip http://tillietulip.blogspot.com/2012/06/to-beg-chain-ch-5-and-join-to-form.html
I chose my usual Stylecraft Special DK https://www.stylecraft-yarns.co.uk/Special+DK/0_caea175_CAFA016.htm from Wool Warehouse https://www.woolwarehouse.co.uk/
The daisy centres are Mocha and the petals are Soft Peach. I used Pale Rose for the main colour and reprised the Soft Peach for the border.
I joined the square using the Continuous Join As You Go method explained here by Hooked by Robin https://youtu.be/kKsb_1YTV4I
For the border I switched to Soft Peach and followed the instructions in Little Dove Crochet blog. Scroll up for the link.
All finished off with a Nicky Bee Crochet wooden brand tag from JS Lasercraft https://jslasercraft.co.uk/
I find a 4mm crochet hook works best, with my tension, for this yarn. The hook and other notions pictured are from Pedro’s Plaques https://etsy.me/2CTIE0d
Perfect as a gift for a new baby girl, or for a baby shower. Now listed for sale in my Etsy shop and Facebook page. Click on the relevant icons at the top of the page.
